Cold Open: At his country manor, Wagamore Knolls, Sir Maxwell showers and dresses for the social event of the season, The Garden Party, attended by the Purebred Crowd, an elite class of canines. Unfortunately, he has fleas. The crowd catches them. Sir Maxwell knows it’s him. He’s chased out of the party by the Dog Catcher and runs back home to write in his journal - and buries it.
